To know how to restore your classic motorcycle and get it back on the road, you need to know the original data from its Type Approval Sheet.. The motorcycle must comply with the technical specifications in that document in order to circulate legally.

On our website, we have included Type Approval Sheets for over 2,800 motorcycles, mopeds, cargo tricycles, and more, which entered circulation starting from the early 1950s.

What you will find in the Type Approval Sheet

In the sheet, you can find the following technical data: engine displacement and power, dimensions, weight and overall size of the motorcycle, tire specifications, exhaust noise emissions, silencer, brakes, updates made to the motorcycle over the years, identification data, and much more. You will also find a preview drawing of the vehicle itself, which is useful to check if the model you are interested in is exactly the one you plan to purchase.

Before downloading the file you need (priced at €10.00), we recommend checking whether the motorcycle or cargo tricycle you are interested in is exactly the one for which we can provide the data. For each motorcycle, you can see a preview image that allows you to verify the model and year in order to purchase the correct sheet.

Please note that the commercial name of the motorcycle almost never matches the type approval
code, so viewing the drawing is very useful to identify it accurately.
